Hackathon Timeline

May 7 - Official Launch

Track reveal, prize pool announcement, and opening of the hackathon will be announced during Sui Live in Miami

May 7-June 21 - Building Period

Active building phase

June 21 - Submission Deadline

Final deadline for all project submissions. After the deadline, you can continue to make changes to your project but it may not be reflected in the shortlisting process

July 8 - Shortlisted Teams Announcement

Shortlisted teams announced. The shortlisted teams will present live on Demo Day.

July 20-21 - Demo Day

Shortlisted teams will present their projects live virtually to our panel of judges

August 27 - Winners Announcement

Final winners announced and will be invited to pitch during Sui Basecamp 2026.

Award Structure

Prizes for Sui Overflow 2026 will follow a split distribution model designed to encourage continued development beyond the hackathon:

If a winning team has already deployed their project to mainnet by the time winners are announced in August, they will receive 100% of the prize upfront.
