("Mysten Labs") provides infrastructure and technical services for the Platform as a service provider to the Foundation. By creating an account or using the Platform’s developer services, features, or tools, including hackathons, events, job board, developer tools, and other features (collectively, "Platform Services"), you ("User," "you," or "Participant") agree to these Terms.
The Platform is a developer portal operated by Sui Foundation on the Sui network and hosted at sui.io. It enables developers and teams to: (a) create developer profiles and manage wallet-linked identities; (b) register for and participate in hackathons and other events; (c) access a job board and submit applications within the Sui ecosystem; (d) request and manage developer credits and grants; (e) track on-chain activity, earn badges, and showcase developer achievements; (f) link Move packages and Sui Verification Registry (MVR) submissions; and (g) access other developer tools and resources provided by Sui Foundation and its affiliates (collectively, the "Platform Services").
By using the Platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority where you reside) and are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
To access the Platform Services, you must create an Account. Accounts may be created by connecting a supported Sui-compatible wallet (including development wallets and hardware wallets) or by using an approved social login provider (currently GitHub, Google, X, or Discord) via OAuth.. After creating an Account, you may optionally add profile information, including your name, username, country, GitHub repository, additional wallet addresses, X handle, Discord handle, Telegram username, email address, and phone number. An email address or phone number you provide will be verified by a temporary code before being activated. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet credentials and linked login methods and for all activity under your Account. We may suspend or terminate Accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law. Any personal information you provide is collected, stored, and processed in accordance with the Sui Foundation Privacy Policy.
Platform infrastructure, including Account data storage and processing, is provided by Mysten Labs, Inc. as a service provider and data processor acting on behalf of Sui Foundation pursuant to a data processing agreement. Mysten Labs processes your Account data solely to provide the Platform Services and does not use your data for its own commercial purposes except as disclosed in the Privacy Policy.
Hackathon Events hosted on the Platform are governed by these Terms and the specific event rules, eligibility requirements, and criteria (collectively, "Event Rules").
As part of a Hackathon Event, you may submit code, designs, data, written materials, and other content (collectively, "Submissions"). Each Submission must comply with the Event Rules and applicable law.

You grant Sui Foundation and named event sponsors a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free, perpetual, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, reproduce, display, perform, distribute, and otherwise use your Submissions for judging, promotion/marketing, event documentation, and Platform operations. You further grant us a right to use your name, likeness, and public profile in connection with the foregoing uses of your Submissions (publicity release).
Representations & Indemnity. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to make your Submissions and that they do not infringe third‑party rights. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sui Foundation, Mysten Labs, sponsors, and Organizers from claims arising out of your Submissions or your violation of these Terms.
Open Source & SDKs. If your Submission incorporates Walrus, Seal, Nautilus, Sui, or other tools, you must comply with the applicable open‑source or SDK license terms.
All Submissions must be developed on or after the Hackathon Event start date as set forth in the Event Rules.
